Nastka, a musically talented and rebellious 14-year-old with synesthesia, accidentally gets hit by a garbage truck and ends up in a wheelchair. To regain full functionality, she must undergo lengthy rehabilitation. Her mother is unsure how to help her daughter, whose world has just fallen apart. The solution comes in the form of a trip to her uncle Stefan, who runs a teenage foster home in the mountains.
There, Nastka meets Andrzej, a 15-year-old pianist on the autism spectrum. There’s an immediate spark between them – their common ground being music and sound. They begin their acquaintance with playful exploration of sound. Thanks to Nastka, Andrzej starts opening up to others. In turn, Nastka begins to truly hear the world around her and gets in touch with herself. She falls in love with it. And with Andrzej. Through music, Nastka and Andrzej discover what it means to love for the first time, and Nastka finds happiness where she least expects it.

A young mother disappears on the slopes of the sacred Ślęża mountain, leaving behind a stroller with her baby. A police officer going through a divorce, a young husband fascinated with the military, and a retired clairvoyant try to reconstruct the last moments before the woman’s vanishing. They are accompanied by a rookie policewoman who stands in for the missing wife, and who has a very personal connection to the case and to the mountain. “CLEARING” is a micro road movie that confronts protagonists with their beliefs about the role of women and the duties of motherhood, leading them either towards liberation or to self-destruction.

Peter is under the impression that he’s in control of time. He has a tried and tested strategy for girls; none of them gets to stay the night. Until the night he picks Wendy up and everything slips out of his control… Wendy… and time.
